Time Machine - New Religion

I climbed hills and mountains
I crossed the seven seas of life
I walked across heaven and hell
I saw all I could see
But I still have a thousand doubts
And a thousand questions strike my mind

I met the holy shaman
I met the evil wizard
I met the prophets of many bibles
And the pharaohs of steel
And I still wonder who is the keeper
Of the chalice of wisdom

Now I’m watching up above
Now I want a new god
A new religion
Something to believe in
As no riot, nor revolution will ever change the world
Just one god
Just one religion
Something that isn’t money
No more riots, nor revolution
I’m sick of all these lies

I’m hanging on the line
Dividing faith and non believing
Seeking for an indication
A sign from higher skies
And I still wonder who is the keeper
Of the chalice of wisdom

Now I’m watching up above
Now I want a new god
A new religion
Something real to believe in
As no riot, nor revolution will ever change the world
Just one god
Just one religion
Something that isn’t money
No more riot, nor revolution
I’m sick of all these lies
